About
I help companies ship digital products, and the platforms behind them, faster — and with more confidence in what goes out the door.
Over the last decade plus I’ve helped build and ship native iOS and Android apps, and the large-scale, high-transaction systems they depend on. Most recently I led mobile, front-end and DevOps engineering across a global iGaming ecosystem, including a full ground-up rebuild of both apps, delivered alongside a broader digital transformation of how the organisation planned, built and released software. Before that I led client-app test automation and device platform engineering for NOW, Sky’s OTT streaming product.
I’ve spent much of my career leading through Engineering Managers, Principals and Architects, running multiple engineering teams in parallel, plus owning the SDLC and platform infrastructure serving wider teams. That means agile at scale: aligning multiple teams around a product roadmap, making dependencies visible, keeping delivery predictable without drowning teams in process, and building a culture of ownership, learning and experimentation that holds up under pressure. I work equally well at the level of release pipelines and test strategy, and at the level of team structure, hiring, how an engineering organisation makes decisions, and future operating model design.
I stay close to the tech. Recent personal builds include a production music collection and player site (opens in a new tab) on Next.js, Vercel, Neon and GitHub Actions, further projects on Cloudflare (this one among them), and computer vision and AI prototypes.
