Director of DevOps & Application Engineering
Engineering and Product owner for Mobile, CMS and Front End — owned roadmap, requirements and prioritisation alongside delivery. Led the rebuild and new UX of the iOS and Android white-label apps, serving players across multiple regulated markets.
Also led the DevOps engineering organisation, improving ways of working with engineering, increasing automation, DevSecOps and FinOps, which were crucial for BAU and New Market Entry operations.

- A department of 25–30 as a manager of managers, directors and senior ICs across mobile, full-stack and DevOps, supporting the SDLC and infrastructure used by 150+ engineers
- In-app customer journeys under regulatory scrutiny: AML, KYC, liveness and geolocation, delivered across jurisdictions
- An As-Is to To-Be operating model change across engineering, reshaping its interface with security, compliance, finance, GTM and the ELT

Owned 0-to-1 automation product initiatives for Sky’s NOW global streaming department, as both product owner and senior engineering leader: I defined the vision, roadmap and funding case for entirely new test automation platforms, then hired and led the teams that built them from the ground up.

- Transformation of CI/CD and test automation for the NOW apps — mobile, smart TVs, game consoles and streaming sticks — plus a data ingestion and observability platform for the CI pipelines
- New Relic observability for the NOW apps, and DORA metrics and developer-experience initiatives across the engineering organisation
